Happy Belated New Year! I have finally written the first of many newsletters for the New Year.
Wow, it is already 2008 and what a great year we all have ahead of us. Did you know that eight is the number for new beginnings and this is a year for all new things? So be encouraged. Taking time to reflect back a moment…. last year was shake, rattle & roll for Felecia Bella. Two new stores were opened in a six month time period while still doing our regular trade shows. It was quite a roller coaster ride. The Holidays were great and I actually got to spend quality time with my family.
I want to share with you one of the great gifts I received. Being the “Fashion Diva” that I am, my brother gave me a fabulous Muumuu. So, I decided to show you how cute it is on me. Here it is before putting it through the Felecia Bella makeover. See photo on right.

Big difference, huh! So girls just remember, you can take a lemon (something that NO ONE would ever wear) and make it into something somewhat better. HA!
On to better things….
The Jackson, TN store on Vann Dr. has a new manager, Nancy Matthews. Photo below and right.She is a long time friend and customer of Felecia Bella and you are going to love her. She is great with fashion  and her personal background of 20+ years as a personal trainer really gives her added knowledge of what looks best on your body type. With her management and marketing expertise she is a real blessing and asset for Felecia Bella. Welcome Nancy! Come see her and her great team. Let them assist you, and I promise you won’t be sorry!
Lindy Avery assists Nancy and she is great with that personal one-on-one total makeover. (photo of Lindy on left) She just recently graduated with a BS in Marketing and is helping put together the Felecia Bella Marketing Plan. This plan includes fund raisers for nonprofit charities and personal events that you can schedule. Any of these specialized  events are available at all of the Felecia Bella locations. Other members of the Jackson team included Valerie Allison, Amber Story Knight, and Kathi Cook. With this great team in place we are well equipped for your every fashion need. The Germantown store opened in October 2007, right before the Holidays, and it was wild. There is also a great team of girls there too. Pat Mosley is the temporary manager (she and I went to kindergarten together). I am really excited about her expertise. She has done marketing with the Chamber for years and I am really excited about her expertise not to mention what a great people person she is. She can put a fabulous wardrobe together for any occasion and is very good with accessorizing for a special touch.
Here is a brief introduction of other members of the Germantown team. Tammy Beatse has been in fashion for years and brings her valuable expertise to assist you.  Susan Stanford, whom many of you already know, has been with me almost from day one on the road. Other part-time team members are Stephanie Hooks (who is getting her Fashion Merchandising Degree at University of Memphis), Samantha Patterson (also at the University) and Claudia Hite (a fashion diva for sure). Needless to say, these gals are on it and can help you with any of your fashion needs. So go see them! The Germantown store is located at 6655 Poplar, Suite 101. Rutherford is still my first born and baby. It is a small town but remember good things come in small packages. My super mom, Patsy Workman, is running this store with some part-time help. She is much like me. Our heart is to see you look and be the best you can be. We are open at the Rutherford store Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment. As many of you know, we are in the middle of our Winter Clearance. It is finally cold enough to enjoy the winter clothes, so get down to the stores and take advantage of these great savings! I head to market this month, so get ready. I have already started receiving spring merchandise daily and it ROCKS! You girls are all going to be the absolute best dressed at all of the spring and summer flings, trust me. You’re going to go wild over this merchandise! Also great news, I am adding a great line of cowboy boots (surprise-surprise). They are awesome. I will be putting these in the stores, and I will also be adding these to the website for ordering online as well. These are the greatest boots and that’s exactly what we want!
