Hello Fellow Hoochie Mama’s!

I know you’re thinking it’s about time I got another newsletter out.  You are so right on! I have lots to tell you this time.  Where do I start?  Lets go back to February.  The girls (Nancy, Lindy, Mary Beth, Mom, Kittie, & myself) did a fashion show/seminar for the Working Women’s Network at UT Martin.  It was great.  We had so much fun.  You know me and all my bright ideas. HA!  I was supposed to speak on how to accessorize your wardrobe.  So, I changed it to “The greatest accessory we can ever wear is LOVE.”  It is vital to love yourself.  When you wear love you so rock! It doesn’t matter if you are big, little, short, tall, thin, or overweight. Love who God made you to be and then don’t wait until you lose the weight to treat yourself.  Tomorrow may never come.  Enjoy today.  Look great and have lots of FUN!  So, here are some pics of the show.  I had the girls come out in their everyday wardrobes and discuss their personal lifestyles.  Then they changed, came back out in their new Felecia Bella looks, threw their old looks out, and began anew! (I had a garbage can to throw out their old looks).  It was great! There were over 300 women there and we rocked the house.  Hopefully everyone was encouraged and inspired.  My heart is so strong on helping and encouraging women to love themselves and to see them follow their dreams to fulfill their destiny.

Mary Beth, who is one of the models, is the artistic hand behind all the Hoochie Mama T-Shirts and artwork at the stores.  I just love this woman.  She is such a blessing - and talk about talent! I can call her and just say what i see and she runs with it.  Amazing.  She has been painting a lot of pieces for Felecia Bella customers as well.  If any of you ever need any personalized art work, gifts, or special murals I highly recommend calling her.  She can be reached at 731-658-4522 or via email at mbqueenbee@hotmail.com.  You will love her and her art.  I personally want everything she does.  She has done my cow skulls, murals, bathrooms, paintings and t-shirt designs.  If you stand still long enough she can just paint you! HA!

We also did a fund raiser in Jackson for a Collierville Catholic School.  That was great as well!  I’m thinking we need to start a gypsy caravan like the carnival people and just go all over and speak, inspire, and peddle Felecia Bella clothes and accessories.  What do you think? HA!  I feel like that already!

I just got back from New York City market buying.  It was awesome.  I picked up some new lines that are really going to be great.  A line of casual sweats, some classy jackets, knee shorts, reversible skirts, and GREAT jeans (copies of Not your Daughter’s Jeans and Seven and True Religion.).  I picked up some great handbags (the best ever) jewelry, hats, belts, shoes, and much more!  If we don’t have it then it’s not to be found.  I can promise you that.  Truly Felecia Bella is the hottest place to shop and I am not just saying this.  We have the greatest fashions on the market and at great prices.

Lindy Avery, our marketing director, and I are working on the Internet project.  We plan to have pics of new merchandise to you the end of April.  We are going to start with five looks (broken down to individual pieces) so you can email or call and order.  Just remember that the quantity will be extremely limited, so you may want to call ASAP.  This way we can get a feel for our market.  Hopefully we can then do it 1 or 2 a month plus work on an E-Store.  I really see this becoming my vision for the distribution center in Rutherford.  As you all know, or most of you do, Rutherford is a small town (only a four-way stop and no stop lights, HA!).  So, my heart is to do a distribution center here for the Felecia Bella Stores and E-Stores.  People here need jobs.  I personally believe you can’t outgive.  Even though it is really tough being here sometimes.  It seems like the local folks just don’t want to support it.  However, one day when i was crying out to God about it all, He spoke to me and said it’s not what they do for me, but what I do for them.  Amen.  So, I am so determined to do what it takes.  If you have any ideas please email us.  I love you guys and trust your judgements.

Jackson store: Nancy and the girls all say hello.  These girls are rocking the city all the time, and believe me Jackson is lookin’ good!  Thanks for all your support.  You girls look GREAT!

FYI our grand opening for the Germantown Store is set for April 25th from 6:30 to 9:30 and we have our favorite band, The Bluesberry Jam Band, coming.  We’ll have food, wine, door prizes, and specials.  Trust me, you don’t want to miss this!  It will be fun.  So, come spend the evening with us.  The band will be out by the fountain.  Call if you need more info.  (901)590-1432.

Well, I guess I have caught you up to date.  I’m sorry for the time lapse, but it has been really busy.  I’m actually writing this in the car on the way to Southern Women’s Show in Nashville.  So, you all are always on my heart and mind.  Just let today be a new beginning and have a blessed, prosperous, and happy day!
